Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed exploring the local countryside and visiting the charming village nearby. The place served good food and had cozy corners to relax in. Just a tip , parking is available, and the fish platter is a must-try! Definitely worth staying for a fun group getaway.
One downside was breakfast service. The staff seemed a bit off, which led to a disorganized breakfast experience. It was frustrating when orders were mixed up.

Tolkien Suite with valley views, charming outdoor seating area, beautiful gardens
Cleanliness needs attention, with dust and cobwebs abound!!! Temperature control is poor, leading to stuffy rooms that could use better ventilation!!!

The Shireburn Arms had a lovely location, with beautiful walks right from the door, including paths alongside the River Ribble. The pub itself is charming and cozy, providing a nice atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring. The food was delicious, with generous portions and great options for breakfast.
The shower design could lead to water splashing outside.

The double room was cozy and very clean, and we loved the tasty breakfast with the best fish and chips ever! After enjoying the lovely log fire, we took some time to relax in the stunning garden area and on the sun terrace. The shower could have used some maintenance, but it didn’t ruin our great experience overall. 😊

A cozy stay with great food!
Just spent 3 nights at this lovely spot. The double room was super comfy and well-furnished. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were really friendly. Just wish it was easier to get a table without a reservation for dinner, as the bar was kinda full. Still, had a fab time!

Nice rooms, service could be better
We stayed for 2 nights in a double room and it was pretty comfy with decent amenities like a fan and ironing board. The pub food was good, but our experience was kinda spoiled by slow service. We had to chase down our ketchup and gravy, which was a bummer. Nice spot for a chill evening though.

Perfect for those who cherish nature
I particularly liked the laid-back vibe of this place, where I had a double room that opened up directly to the gardens. the view was mesmerizing! And the breakfast was spot on, a full English that fueled me perfectly for a long day of walking.
Definitely not the cheapest place around, but it’s certainly worth the price.
